Employee Timekeeping
An employee timesheet management system, which allows staff supervisors to scan
employees in or out of a site using an android smart phone application. This information is
accumulated on a server to allow for exporting employee time sheets and other reports.
This system is composed of two parts:
Part A: The backend, which the administrators of the system can log in and manage
components, such as registered employees, sites, public holidays, and timesheets. Logs can
also be viewed; such as history of employees scanned to a particular site; history of sites
into which a particular employee has been scanned; total hours worked per site or per
employee for a selected period; a scan log showing a history of all scans performed
displaying the physical location for where that scan was performed; as well as a log of logins
to the system. Manual scans of employees can also be performed, as well as manual
corrections of erroneous scans. The back end also facilitates uploading headshots of
employees, and automatically generating barcoded name tags suitable for printing and using
as name tags.
Part B: The front end of the system, which consists of a simple Android Application. This app
lets the user select the site to which they would like to scan the employee, and the facility to
scan the barcoded name tag of the employee. The ID of the employee is sent to the server,
and the server then will scan the employee in or out of the site logging the server timestamp
of the scan and the location.
The system can be set to give lenience to employees with a time threshold, in a manner that
will give a time period grace on the time sheet for slightly early or slightly late scans into or
out of site if desired. Timesheets are exported in PDF or excel spreadsheets, and can be
customised within reason for useability and for certain payroll software packages.
Asset Maintenance Management
An asset management system which allows multiple users to keep and access
records of assets and associated reports related to individual sites.
This is made user friendly by allowing administrative users to group assets into asset-types
associated to particular sites as well as create user accounts granting access to completing
reports.
Once asset types have been created custom reports can be associated to an asset type
which will be completed by the users to keep records of procedures or tasks undertaken.
These records are time-stamped by the server, showing duration taken to complete, start
and end times as well as recording the user who completed the report.
Reports can be formatted to record custom data fields, accommodating most data field
types.
In viewing the information stored for a single asset the user can see a complete history of all
the reports completed, if numerical values are part of the report the historical values will be
shown graphically.
The system can also be used to label all assets in the site which as well as identify the asset
also includes a qr-code barcode which when scanned with any web enabled device directs
the browser to a page relating to that asset in particular.
This allows for easy access to asset information, protected records of all interactions with
assets on site as well as a common place to store records.
Asset Tracking
This is an asset tracking system which keeps track of assets, tools and equipment. The user scans the asset, tool or equipment barcode and assigns it to a specific employee using an android smart phone application.
Vehicle Maintenance Management
A vehicle management system which allows multiple users to keep and access service records of vehicles as well as assets and associated reports related to individual sites.
This is made user friendly by allowing administrative users to group vehicles into vehicle-types associated to particular sites as well as create user accounts granting access to completing reports.

Spares management which keeps track of how much stock is on site, when and where each spare was used and which vehicle the spares were used for. The system will send an email to the administrator when stocks are running low as well as generate an order form.
Consumables management keeps track of how much fuel and oil is used per vehicle, location and job.
